Our Wedding

On October 21, 2022, God brought us together. I was working a second job at Crosstown Pub in Cary, and Andy came in that evening to pick up a to-go order. The ticket that came through in the kitchen read "Cary Hoodie" - that's how the bartender who took his order described him. Being that I had just had my 30th Cary High School reunion the week before, I was intrigued and thought I might know the person. When I walked into the dining room to check them out, I saw Andy, wearing the same Cary hoodie that I bought at my reunion Homecoming football game the week before. Turns out I did not know Cary Hoodie. I asked if he went to Cary, and he said no but his friend's son played baseball there. He was so handsome that I could barely hear what he was saying. After a brief conversation, I told him I'd go back to the kitchen and check on his order. When I went to the kitchen, I pulled off some receipt paper and wrote my name and number on it. When I went back out to deliver his food order, I said I've never done this here, but here's my number if you'd like to talk some time. October 21, 2026 will mark four years since that night.
